Honour for DEAP
This is honour for DEAP Pakistan Big Brother Dr. Khalid Jamil Akhtar join us voluntarily as an advisor for disability program. Dr. Khalid Jamil Akhtar is a versatile scholar and Medical professional. Along with medical Doctor he holds special degrees on Rehabilitation. He has wonderful curricular, co curricular and extra curricular record. At present he is working as a head of rehabilitation department Mayo Hospital Lahore. His autobiography “Teesra Janam” has received immense appreciation all over the country. “Nai Manzalain Naye Rastey” a comprehensive book on various disabilities is one of his distinct works.

We work at tackling not just the symptoms, but also the causes in issues related to Education and Health, Women's Empowerment, Community Development and Civic Issues. Farzana 8 years old is a student of one class. Her father
is labour and her mother works in other homes. She had not
gone to school due to financial
crises of her parents. She had wished to go school but she
cannot act upon on her wish. Her mother shared her wish with
DEAP team. DEAP team visited her home and called her father
at office. DEAP shared her wish with a local person and he
agreed to start sponsorship for her education. She is
student of one class in Govt. M.C. Girls Primary School No.
4 Chakwal now. She is getting free evening tuition at DEAP
academy located Moh. Sargojra West Chakwal. She is a
brilliant student in her class and she wish to become a
doctor in her future life.
Hifsa lives in Chakwal city with disability of lower limb. She cannot stand and walk without any support. She always spent her time on bed and depends on other for her basic necessities. She had wanted to go in social activities but due to her disability she could not act upon on her wishes. After treatment from DEAP Physiotherapy centre, she is perfect and she is living as a normal girl now. She drinks water, use washroom and do all other daily works without any support of her family members. She and her family are happy now and pay thanks to Allah and DEAP team.
